These terms govern your use of genevabydesign.com.au and any enquiry or quotation you make through it. The site is operated by Geneva by design, Unit 1, 209 Harris Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This website does not sell online
This is a specification and enquiry website, not an online shop. You cannot place an order or make a payment here. Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quotation is not an order, and it does not create a contract. A contract is formed only when we issue a written quotation or order acknowledgement and you accept it in writing.
Product information
We take care to describe products accurately, but specifications, dimensions, materials, finishes and lead times are indicative and may change without notice as manufacturers update their ranges. Colours and textures shown on screen are a guide only and will differ from the physical product — we recommend requesting samples before committing to a finish. Where a product is made to order, minor variations in timber grain, leather, fabric and applied finishes are inherent in the material and are not defects.
Availability is not guaranteed until confirmed in writing. Many products are made to order and lead times are estimates, not commitments, unless we state otherwise in a quotation.
Quotations and pricing
Any price shown or quoted is in Australian dollars. Unless a quotation says otherwise, prices exclude GST, delivery, installation, and any site-specific requirements. Quotations are valid for the period stated on them, and are subject to change where manufacturer pricing, exchange rates, freight costs or your requirements change. Delivery and installation are quoted separately and depend on access, floor level, lift availability and site readiness.
Using this website
You may use this site for your own business or personal purposes in connection with enquiring about our products. You must not use it in any way that breaches the law, interferes with its operation or security, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to it. You must not scrape, harvest, republish or systematically extract content from the site, or use it to train or develop a machine learning or artificial intelligence system, without our written permission.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, product descriptions, photographs, drawings, layout, graphics and code — is owned by us or our suppliers and licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Manufacturer names, product names and logos are the trade marks of their respective owners and appear here to identify the products we supply. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute any content from this site except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

This site may link to other websites. We do not control those sites, and we are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Your Australian Consumer Law rights
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with a service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel the contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion.
For goods, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.
Manufacturer warranties
Products we supply carry the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by brand and product and is provided with your quotation or on request. Manufacturer warranties are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Warranties generally do not cover fair wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised modification or repair, or use outside the product's intended application.
Our liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law:
- this website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free or free of harmful components;
- we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, business or opportunity, arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content; and
- where our liability can be limited, it is limited at our option to resupplying the relevant goods or services, or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
We may change these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed. The terms that apply to a transaction are those in force when your quotation is issued.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
