Ref. 70806-textile

(01) Overview

A glass writing surface

Tempered low iron glass gives a true colour with none of the green cast of ordinary glass, and the surface is magnetic as well as writable. Glass boards clean back to new and do not ghost the way a painted surface does.

Mounting

Wall mounted with concealed fittings, so the board sits close to the wall and reads as part of it.

Frame and finishes

Textile, solid cork or oak bentwood depending on the module; 15 to 16 selected glass and textile colour combinations (the product sheet says 15, the product page says 16). MOOD-GLASS on Bloc Glass and Bloc News; textile or cork on the other modules.

Made at Nybro

Lintex makes its boards at its own factory at Nybro in Småland, where it also holds its glass and steel stock, so sizes and colours can be built to order rather than pulled from a container. The factory runs on geothermal heating and its own rooftop solar, and Lintex has been a net producer of renewable energy since 2022.

Certifications

Lintex publishes: FSC Mix: FSC-C170086; VOC: ISO 16000-9:2006 (Bloc Glass); Sound absorption: SS-EN ISO 354:2003 and SS 25269:2013 (Bloc Textile, Bloc Glass, Bloc Cork); Environmental management system: ISO 14001:2015; FSC Chain of Custody: DNV-COC-002282.
