Function first

Swell's value lies in its function, but Teppo Asikainen refused to compromise on the look. The result has a strong personality that shapes the feel of a room.

Acoustics

A lightweight absorber for the upper frequencies (500 Hz and above), tested to EN ISO 354. It reduces reflected sound from voices, phones and computers in offices, meeting rooms and restaurants. Offecct's Basfill insert, sold separately, improves absorption between 150 and 500 Hz.

Upholstered option

As well as off-white, grey and anthracite, Swell can be covered in Gabriel Europost 2, a recyclable wool fabric in 48 colours.

Easy to install

Each panel fixes to the wall with four adhesive Velcro attachments (stapled on uneven walls). Use panels individually or combine them to cover a whole wall. They are not designed for ceilings.

Certified

Soundwave panels are made of recyclable moulded polyester fibre and hold EU Ecolabel certification, with an Environmental Product Declaration and GREENGUARD certification. They meet EN 1021-1 and EN 1021-2 without flame retardants.
