(01) Overview
Designed from behind
Most dining chairs are drawn from the front and the back is whatever is left. Note reversed that, and the result is a chair that holds a room even when every seat is taken.
Beech and upholstery
The frame is beech, stained or natural. The seat and back are upholstered with a fixed cover, in Zilio’s fabric and leather ranges or a customer’s own material.
Made in the Manzano chair district
Zilio A&C works from San Giovanni al Natisone in Friuli, in the chair district around Manzano where Italy has built seating since the nineteenth century. The company has been there since 1951 and is now run by the third generation, with solid timber machined, assembled and finished in its own workshops.
About Zilio A&C
