An ottoman that becomes a sofa

Backrests clip onto the ottoman modules, so the same pieces can be bought as poufs for a foyer and reconfigured later as a run of seating. The bold seat volume against the thin aluminium leg is the Buddy signature throughout.

Made at Mornico al Serio

Pedrali has made furniture in Bergamo since 1963 and now runs two Italian plants — Mornico al Serio for metal and upholstery and Manzano, in the Friuli chair district, for solid wood. Moulding, welding, powder coating, upholstery and assembly are all done in-house, which is why the range can be specified finish by finish rather than shipped from stock.
