Designer / Skövde, Sweden
Folke Jansson
Swedish designer and artist Folke Jansson, born in 1920, worked as a set designer, decorator and teacher alongside his furniture design, and later devoted himself to painting. His Arabesk lounge chair was hailed as the sensation of the 1955 Gothenburg furniture fair. Jonas Ihreborn has produced his designs since 2001 and still makes Arabesk by hand to the original method.
