Volume, repeated exactly

The brief

Volume, repeated exactly

Accommodation is the one sector where the same chair is bought two hundred times, and then again in three years when a floor is refreshed.

That makes continuity of supply, finish consistency between production runs and the availability of replacement components more important than novelty. A range that is discontinued in eighteen months is a problem, not a saving.

We specify guest room, lobby, dining and outdoor furniture for hotels, serviced apartments, student accommodation and build-to-rent.

What shapes the schedule

Four things that decide an accommodation order

What separates an accommodation package from a one-off commercial order.

01

Continuity of supply

Will the range still exist for the next refurbishment, and will the finish match. Worth more than a lower unit rate on a range about to be retired.

02

Guest room wear

Guests are not careful. Frame construction, edge protection and cleanable upholstery decide whether year three looks like year one.

03

The lobby as a workplace

Guests work in lobbies now. Power, seat comfort over long sittings and acoustic separation belong in a lobby specification.

04

Delivery at volume

Two hundred rooms is a logistics problem before it is a furniture problem: staging, floor-by-floor access and lift bookings.
