(01) Overview

Ceramic steel that outlives the fitout

The writing surface is enamelled ceramic steel: magnetic, Cradle to Cradle certified, with a steel core made from 50 per cent recycled material, and up to 99 per cent recyclable at the end of its life. Lintex warrants the writing surface for 30 years.

Moved, not mounted

The board is freestanding on castors, so a room can be reset around it and the writing can follow the meeting rather than staying on one wall.

Frame and finishes

Black or white aluminium frame, legs and castors. White ceramic steel. Ceramic steel is white as standard. Lintex article prefixes for other surfaces: BE beige whiteboard, GR light grey whiteboard, G green chalkboard, GG graphite grey chalkboard, B blue chalkboard, S black chalkboard. Surface finish prefixes: S semi-matte, M matte. Matte, semi-matte and coloured surfaces carry a 35 per cent surcharge, and Lintex does not recommend a matte surface as a writing board.

Made at Nybro

Lintex makes its boards at its own factory at Nybro in Småland, where it also holds its glass and steel stock, so sizes and colours can be built to order rather than pulled from a container. The factory runs on geothermal heating and its own rooftop solar, and Lintex has been a net producer of renewable energy since 2022.

Certifications

Lintex publishes: Cradle to Cradle certified ceramic steel; 30-year warranty on writing surface; Environmental Product Declaration (EPD International): S-P-06988, IES-0016122; FSC Mix: FSC-C170086; Möbelfakta: ID 0320210323; Safety: EN 14434:2023; VOC: ISO 16000-9:2006; Ceramic steel: Cradle-to-Cradle certified.
