Two sides and a plank

The sides are milled from solid stock and the seat is suspended between them, so the bench reads as three pieces and nothing else. There is no upholstery option and nothing to reupholster.

Two lengths

A short 580 mm bench and a long version. Zilio’s own sources disagree on the long bench at 1040 or 1080 mm, so that dimension is confirmed at order.

Made in the Manzano chair district

Zilio A&C works from San Giovanni al Natisone in Friuli, in the chair district around Manzano where Italy has built seating since the nineteenth century. The company has been there since 1951 and is now run by the third generation, with solid timber machined, assembled and finished in its own workshops.
