The cord is wound by hand onto each frame, which is why the pattern is continuous around the corners rather than stopping at a join. Polypropylene cord holds colour in UV where natural fibre does not.

Made at Mornico al Serio

Pedrali has made furniture in Bergamo since 1963 and now runs two Italian plants — Mornico al Serio for metal and upholstery and Manzano, in the Friuli chair district, for solid wood. Moulding, welding, powder coating, upholstery and assembly are all done in-house, which is why the range can be specified finish by finish rather than shipped from stock.
