A leg that changes its mind

The section rotates and tapers on the way down, so the same leg looks sharp from one side and soft from another. Die-casting is the only way to make that shape repeatably.

Made at Mornico al Serio

Pedrali has made furniture in Bergamo since 1963 and now runs two Italian plants — Mornico al Serio for metal and upholstery and Manzano, in the Friuli chair district, for solid wood. Moulding, welding, powder coating, upholstery and assembly are all done in-house, which is why the range can be specified finish by finish rather than shipped from stock.
