(01) Overview
Weaving as structure and as pattern
The rope is wound across the steel shell in a flat band rather than a cord, which gives a broad, comfortable support surface and a graphic diagonal pattern across the back. Because the rope is weather-resistant polypropylene, the chair works on a terrace as well as in a foyer.

Made at Mornico al Serio
Pedrali has made furniture in Bergamo since 1963 and now runs two Italian plants — Mornico al Serio for metal and upholstery and Manzano, in the Friuli chair district, for solid wood. Moulding, welding, powder coating, upholstery and assembly are all done in-house, which is why the range can be specified finish by finish rather than shipped from stock.
