Ref. 260

(01) Overview

A bistro chair that survives a fitout

Injection moulding in glass-fibre-charged polypropylene means the arch can be thin without flexing, the chair stacks, and the surface takes commercial cleaning. The detailing at the back deliberately recalls a bentwood joint the material never actually makes.

Made at Mornico al Serio

Pedrali has made furniture in Bergamo since 1963 and now runs two Italian plants — Mornico al Serio for metal and upholstery and Manzano, in the Friuli chair district, for solid wood. Moulding, welding, powder coating, upholstery and assembly are all done in-house, which is why the range can be specified finish by finish rather than shipped from stock.
