The volumes are drawn for presence, but injected foam over a light internal frame keeps a Log armchair movable by one person — which is what makes it usable in a reception that gets reconfigured.

Made at Mornico al Serio

Pedrali has made furniture in Bergamo since 1963 and now runs two Italian plants — Mornico al Serio for metal and upholstery and Manzano, in the Friuli chair district, for solid wood. Moulding, welding, powder coating, upholstery and assembly are all done in-house, which is why the range can be specified finish by finish rather than shipped from stock.
